Session Canceled Update Attendance

This setting controls the part of the Session Flow delivered with RollCall that will automatically update all child Attendance records when a Session is set to indicate that it was not taught.

Impacts:

Behavior on linked Attendance records when an action is taken on the parent Course Enrolment

Default Behavior: 

If you are using the Flows delivered with RollCall AND you change the Session Status to Canceled (or your local equivalent), all linked Attendance Records for that day will be set to “Session Was Canceled” (or your local version).

Behavior when setting is changed: 

When the Value of this setting is Off, empty or anything other than On, linked Attendance records will not be updated to indicate the Session Was Canceled by the RC Flows.

Example:

You might not want to automatically update Attendance records in response to a canceled session, or you may have a local automation that handles this functionality in a manner unique to you. 

To use this setting, you would:

Update the “Value” field for this custom metadata record with: Off
