Custom Settings: Course Cancel AutoUpdates

Course Cancel AutoUpdates 

This setting controls the part of the Course Flow delivered with RollCall that will automatically update child Course Enrollment, Session, and Attendance records when the course gets canceled. 

Impacts:

The Status field on Session and Enrollment Status on Course Enrollment

Default Value:

On

Default Behavior without a setting: 

If you are using the Flows delivered with RollCall AND you change the Course Status to Canceled (or your local equivalent), each Course Enrollment linked to the course will have its status value updated to “Course Was Canceled” (or your local equivalent) and each Session linked to the course will have its status value updated to “Canceled” (or your local equivalent). 

Behavior when setting is changed: 

When the Value of this setting is Off, empty or anything other than On, linked Course Enrollment and Session records will not be updated. 

Example:

You may have a local Flow that handles more complex functionality or overrides this functionality, so you would want to disable the RC-delivered automations to replace with your own.

To use this setting, you would:

Update the “Value” field for this custom metadata record with: Off
