Enrollment Enrolled Value
This setting controls the part of the Course Enrollment Flow delivered with RollCall and is used to set the value to indicate a student is expected to attend all sessions of a course.
Impacts:
Attendance records will be created for students with the status indicated here IF AND ONLY IF (1) you are using the Flows delivered with RollCall AND (2) the setting Enrollment Create Attendance is “On.”
When a student is added as a Campaign Member to the linked Campaign IF AND ONLY IF your setting for Link Course to Campaign is set to Enrolled.
Default Value:
Enrolled
Default Behavior without a setting:
All automations using this value will be looking for the Enrollment Status field to say “Enrolled.”
Behavior when setting is changed:
Identical to Default Behavior but the automations for Enrollment Create Attendance and Link Course to Campaign will use your picklist value (whatever is in the Value of the setting) instead of the default one.
Example:
Your organization might use the term “Registered” instead of “Enrolled” to indicate that a student is expected to participate fully in this course and should be scheduled accordingly. You would change the Course Enrollment field “Enrollment Status” and change the “Enrolled” value to reflect your local changes and change the value in this custom setting.
To use this setting, you would:
Decide which Enrollment Status picklist value means that a student is expected to fully engage in the course, if it differs from the default of “Enrolled”
Find the field Enrollment Status on the Course Enrollment object and add your custom wording or overwrite the Enrolled value with your custom wording.
Update the “Value” field for this custom metadata record with the exact value of your picklist item from the Enrollment Status field on the Course Enrollment object.
